Brides of Long Island Summer Soiree
The 2020 Brides of Long Island Summer Soiree will be Thursday, July 23rd, 2020 at Stonebridge Country Club. This years theme is the "The Brides of Long Island Rosé Soirée". The event will begin with cocktail hour and raffle purchases at 7:30 PM. Please read all details below before purchasing your tickets. This event is a huge party we throw for all members of Brides of Long Island! Come dine, dance, mingle and have some fun – you deserve a fun night out! Check out our video for a sneak peak into the venue! Food & Drink:The event will include tons of passed hors d’oeuvres as well as multiple buffet stations. Beer, wine, champagne, soda and a signature cocktail is also included. Liquor will be available for purchase. We will also have tons of dessert options! Prizes:I have been working for months on securing the best grand prizes for you all which will be announced closer to the event. Basket prizes will line the walls of the room! This year we will be giving away over $100,000 worth of goods and services! Prizes will be announced at the end of the night and you must be present to win! You only put tickets in prize baskets that you are interested in. Tickets are $1 each. There is no limit to how many tickets you can buy and there is no limit on how many prizes you can win. The minimum purchase for raffle tickets is $5. 5 Free Prize Tickets with Donation:This year we will be collecting donations for Dress for Success. Dress for Success is an international not-for-profit organization that empowers women to achieve economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire and the development tools to help women thrive in work and in life. Since starting operations in 1997, Dress for Success has expanded to more than 150 cities in 25 countries and has helped more than one million women work towards self-sufficiency. Items we are collecting this year include the following; Interview appropriate suitsInterview appropriate blousesProfessional separates including blouses, slacks, skirts, dresses, blazers and jacketsWork appropriate shoesHandbags (briefcases, portfolios or work appropriate handbag) Please ensure that all items donated are freshly dry-cleaned / laundered and ironed, not more than 5 years old, and suitable for wearing to job interviews. Let’s come together with some BOLI love and make a wonderful donation to these women in need. **FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS** Who can go?Our event is private, which means only members of Brides of Long Island are invited. It’s okay if you won't know anyone attending the event; You will make friends very fast as we are all just meeting each other as well! Suzanne and I actually met at the very first meet up and have been best friends ever since! What is the dress code?Cocktail attire. This year is the "Ros��Soirée" so wear a cute pink, rose gold, gold, white, cream dresses, pant suits, jumpsuits or rompers. Jeans, sweatpants, leggings, flip flops, hats, hoodies are not permitted. Can I bring a friend?Only members of Brides of Long Island are invited and permitted to attend. If your friend is not a BOLI, they cannot come. I am not attending the event but would like to win a prize, can I?No, only guests in attendance at the event can purchase prize tickets to win. What should I bring?Only bring what you want to carry. Make sure to bring a form of ID to be checked with your ticket at the door, cash for prize tickets and please bring some items for the Dress for Success collection if you would like free prize tickets. Are tickets available at the door?Tickets for the Soiree will not be sold at the door as this event sells out. What is the refund policy?Tickets are non-transferable and non refundable. Is there parking?The event will be serviced with valet parking at no additional fee. There is also parking available on site. Is the event handicap accessible?Yes, our event is handicap accessible. Will there be vegan, vegetarian and/or gluten free, dairy free food options?Yes. We have always made sure our members dietary needs are met.
